Für Elise Flash Mob! borrows Beethoven's legendary theme for some creative piano fun, flash mob style.
This guided activity begins with the opening notes of this iconic melody. Then, students take turns playing/improvising with blues notes that the melody contains. Playful words along with notation are provided for students of varied levels to "take off" on.
As beginning pianists create music in the lively company of friends, they also get practice in identifying notes across the grand staff, playing in multiple registers, syncopating rhythms, and more.
